Stay in the know about new features and enhancements in OpenCRM
We have extended the Board View feature to the Quotes, Sales Orders and Invoices modules.
This means that in addition to viewing records in the standard List View format, you can now choose to view Views as a Kanban-style Board. What's more, you can drag and drop single or multiple records from one column to another. Any workflow, etc., associated with status changes will work accordingly.
When you are using the Keyword Search on Timeline, you can now also filter the results for Sales Orders, Invoices, Quotes, Purchase Orders and Helpdesk using the Status field. For more details on using Timeline, have a look here.
This new feature enables you to link Activities to other entities by putting the ID of the other record(s) into the Activity Description.

It is possible to auto-filter products that appear in the pop-up search window when linking products to any module with a product grid, based on values on the record being linked to.
A great example for this is if you have Sales Orders of a particular Category, and you only want to link Products to the Order that relate to that particular Category. You can find out more here.
From workflow, the action "Webhook" allows you to trigger a webhook URL for a third party system. You can specify the URL to trigger, and the raw payload data. You can send information regarding the triggering record in the payload (or URL) using standard email merge variables. An example of this, is on change of a ticket status, send a message about the ticket to a channel in your Instant Messaging tool.
