Linking Activities to Other Entities

Filtering Product Search

It is possible to auto-filter products that appear in the pop-up search window when linking products to any module with a product grid, based on values on the record being linked to. 

A great example for this is if you have Sales Orders of a particular Category, and you only want to link Products to the Order that relate to that particular Category. You can find out more here

Trigger Webhook URL from Workflow - send record data to third party API

From workflow, the action "Webhook" allows you to trigger a webhook URL for a third party system. You can specify the URL to trigger, and the raw payload data. You can send information regarding the triggering record in the payload (or URL) using standard email merge variables. An example of this, is on change of a ticket status, send a message about the ticket to a channel in your Instant Messaging tool.

System Visual Enhancements

Add new fields to the New Activity pop-up screen on the Calendar - Category, Assigned To, Status. Additionally, this window has been reordered to more closely match the default OpenCRM layout. 

Lists on the Settings page e.g. to add a Custom field have been sorted alphabetically.

The PDF template editor has had a substantial UI change.  

The Helpdesk module home page has been brought in line with all other modules and we have added Views, Status and Queues as tabs to this page.

Improved Portal Accessibility

We have made various improvements to portal accessibility. These include adding alt tags on images and css changes for greater colour contrast, Semantic HTML 5 tags, a Tag has been added to the Company logo, updated non-screenreader accessible text, and updated colours from grey on white to black on white.
