OpenCRM Product Updates
Stay in the know about new features and enhancements in OpenCRM
We have updated the sequence in which records are created or updated, when there is more than one record being managed via a Jotform. The primary record is saved and updated, then subsequent records - the key is that this happens before any scheduled workflow might run. That means that the workflow will use updated versions of all the associated records.

The Customer Portal contains a My Details page. This is where your Contacts or Leads logging into the Portal can see and update certain pieces of information you have stored against them in your system. By giving them access to this page, it means they can help keep your data up-to-date by updating their mobile phone number field for example.
We have added the ability to hide fields currently displayed on this page, allowing you to remove any sections that are not relevant. For an overview of the Customer Portal, take a look here.
We are always looking at how we can enance and kimprove our email offering.
Performance improvements for the sending of emails are mostly backend changes. Some of these changes include a number of caching improvements, meaning things are quicker to load, general improvements of the way the code is run, and improved management of merge variables and links.

We have added a Contacts subtab to the Assets screen, meaning you can link more than one Contact to an Asset. Also if you raise a ticket for a Contact linked via the Contact Name field on an Asset - in the ticket, where you have the option to Select Asset, it will automatically filter to display Assets where that Contact is linked.

We've added a merge variable to allow you to automatically number the Despatch Note PDFs you generate from Sales Orders. This is a great feature if you send items from a single Sales Order in batches, and want to keep the customer up-to-date with the progress of the Order.
